What is a group of eagles called?

A group of eagles is commonly referred to as a "convocation" or a "brood." However, these are not the official scientific terms. Eagles are generally solitary birds and do not often gather in large groups except for during migration or at feeding areas. The bald eagle, the national bird and symbol of the United States, typically lives in pairs or small family groups. Some other species of eagles may form larger groups during migration or for communal roosting.
